You don't stop playing because you're getting old.
You get old because you stop playing.
The Warwick Bowling Club 2025-2026 season officially came to a close with club members participating in a game of bowls in perfect conditions, followed by presentations and lunch.
Presentations were made to the Club Championship winners, runners-up and plate winners.
Also, Bowlers of the Year (those who had accumulated the highest number of points from their participation in the various championships) were announced. This year the Ladies Bowler of the Year was awarded to Jenny Duthoor, with Sean Wright, the Men's Bowler of the Year.
