Although all mixed games are published in the Club Program,
it is important to check the Club notice boards and website for updates.
Reg Wilson Memorial Triples
- Special Club Event -
Reg Wilson was a dearly loved member of the Warwick Bowling Club and is sadly missed by all who knew him. His memory lives on with the Reg Wilson Memorial Triples which is held each year.
Saturday 3 October saw near perfect conditions at Warwick, and in excess of 80 members enjoyed an afternoon of bowls followed by fellowship in the clubrooms.
Margaret Wilson thanked all who attended the day in memory of Reg.
Our thanks once again go to Margaret who kindly supported the event and ensured a great day was had by all.

Memorial Day is the day Warwick Bowling Club members gather to honour and remember their bowling friends and past members who have made significant contributions to the Club.
Today, WBC members gathered respectfully around the Rose Garden to acknowledge recently departed members. Everyone then took to the greens to play a commemorative game of bowls.

Australia Day Mixed Social
- Special Club Event -
On Australia Day we celebrate all the things we love about Australia: land, sense of fair go, lifestyle, democracy, the freedoms we enjoy but particularly our people.
It is also a day we pay respect to the stories, histories and contributions of the Australians who lived, worked and fought for the values and freedoms we often take for granted.
This year, as in the past, we had an excellent attendance for the Australia Day bowls. The weather was pleasant, with the occasional drizzle which did little to dampen the spirits. The bowls were good and the company outstanding.
Fellowship was enjoyed by all in the clubrooms after the game with a pie and sauce to make the occasion truly Australian.
Congratulations to the happy winners on the day who were Jules Matheson, John Markham, Kath Fenning and Maureen Chappell.

Anzac Day Diggers Shield

Lest We Forget
Anzac Day is a national day of remembrance in Australia, New Zealand and Tonga that broadly commemorates all Australians and New Zealanders who served and died in all wars, conflicts, and peacekeeping operations and the contributions and suffering of all those who have served.
Today more than 82 Warwick Bowling Club members and guests commemorated Anzac Day with a gathering at the Rose Garden where Jeff Sheppard delivered the Ode of Remembrance.
In ideal conditions, a game of bowls followed with strong competition on the rinks. Excellent bowls were played and a great time was had by all.
A sausage sizzle and fellowship after the game rounded off the day.
