Although all mixed games are published in the Club Program,
it is important to check the Club notice boards and website for updates.

Memorial Day is the day Warwick Bowling Club members gather to honour and remember their bowling friends and past members who have made significant contributions to the Club.
In the last year, we have lost the following members -

Peter Grayson.
Today, WBC members gathered respectfully around the Rose Garden to acknowledge these recently departed members. Everyone then took to the greens to play a commemorative game of bowls.

Australia Day Mixed Social

On Australia Day we celebrate all the things we love about Australia: land, sense of fair go, lifestyle, democracy, the freedoms we enjoy but particularly our people.
It is also a day we pay respect to the stories, histories and contributions of the Australians who lived, worked and fought for the values and freedoms we often take for granted.
This year, as in the past, we had an excellent attendance for the Australia Day bowls. The weather was ideal, the bowls were good and the company outstanding.
Congratulations to the happy winners on the day who were Lyn Cole, Glenice Hahnel, Cheryle Smith and Liz Kuipers.

Anzac Day Diggers Shield

Anzac Day is a national day of remembrance in Australia, New Zealand and Tonga that broadly commemorates all Australians and New Zealanders who served and died in all wars, conflicts, and peacekeeping operations and the contributions and suffering of all those who have served.
Our members commemorated Anzac Day with a gathering at the Rose Garden where Jeff Sheppard delivered the Ode of Remembrance.
A game of bowls followed with strong competition on the rinks. Excellent bowls were played and an enjoyable time was had by all.
Fellowship after the game made for an enjoyable day.

Reg Wilson Memorial Triples
20 September 2025
Reg Wilson was a dearly loved member of the Warwick Bowling Club and is sadly missed by all who knew him. His memory lives on with the Reg Wilson Memorial Triples which is held each year.
Today, in perfect conditions, members of our club enjoyed a day of bowls followed by fellowship in the clubrooms.
Our thanks go to Margaret Wilson who kindly supported the event and ensured a great day was had by all.
