To all bowling members

The Premier announced today that the 3 day lockdown will end as planned at midnight tonight.

Social bowls will now be available at the club from tomorrow and on the following days as usual.

It is our understanding that only 20 people at a time will be allowed in the “clubhouse” and any above this number will need to use the outside facilities.

Note – Face masks will still be mandatory and must be worn at all times.

Subject – Annual General Meeting

In the minutes of the February Executive Meeting, it was stated that the Annual General Meeting

was to be changed by one week to Sunday 23rd May. This was due to concerns that voting slips

being returned by Australia Post may not reach the club in time to be included in the results.

I should remind members that there will be a box in the temporary clubhouse (green shed)

where your voting envelopes can be deposited.

There is still consideration being given as to where the meeting is to be held with suggestions

it should be held in the temporary clubhouse. Members will be advised when a final decision

is made.

Happy Easter to all.

The committee would like to advise all members that the transition of all club

activities to the temporary Clubhouse (green shed) have now been completed.

Entry should be made on the Northern end of the building with parking available

adjacent to the hocket playing fields. Entry can be made in the same way as arranged

at the entrance of the old club if you wish to use greens outside opening times.

The office and bar facilities are still available to members although we are unable to serve

draught beer due to the lack of a cool room.

Next week will see a return to normal social bowls activities and we hope to see

you all there.
