Important message from Club President, Dennis Hahnel

The following are the Recently announced Vaccination Requirements for Licensed Clubs.

Vaccination requirements for licensed venues

The Western Australian Government has announced further restrictions on licensed venues,

following advice this now affects the operations of all Western Australian bowling clubs.

From the 31/01/2022 all patrons to bowling clubs (including members, spectators and the wider general public) are required to be fully vaccinated.

How do I provide proof of vaccination.?

Proof of vaccination will be confirmed via the presentation of an Australian Government COVID-19 Certificate (on-line or hard copy + identification), the Medicare COVID-19 digital certificate or the Service WA app.

What area is included in these restrictions?

For the avoidance of doubt, the licensed venue will include the clubhouse, playing surfaces and surrounds, incorporating all areas within the club boundary.

What does fully vaccinated mean?

Fully vaccinated means having received at least two doses of a registered COVID-19

             Further important notes.

  1. Only one entry point will be operating for persons to enter the clubhouse facilities.

This entry point is to be through the side gate on the Northern end of the building.

The exception is on Friday where the only point of entry will be the main entrance from 3.00pm.

This will be manned by a Marshall who will be responsible for checking the vaccination status of all persons entering the club premises.

The club is asking for volunteers to act as Marshalls from within its membership and have their names placed on a roster.

Training will be provided to all volunteer Marshalls.

Please contact - Ian Secomb or Angela Loran if you can help.

  1. A register will be maintained at the club and monitored by the Marshall of the day of the vaccination status of all persons entering the club. In the case of those members playing pennants, you will need to provide proof of vaccination as below.

  •                      Lady pennant players by Monday 24th January 2022.

  •                    Male pennant players by Sunday 30th January 2022.

  •                       From Sunday 16th January 2022 masks are again                      mandatory when attending the club premises.

  •                      It is important that all persons entering the club register             by signing on or registering by the tracer app.

If you have not provided proof of vaccination by the stated dates, you cannot be considered for pennant selection.
